In most circumstances, it was difficult for these clients to help employers see previous their convictions. In my current position as a Career Coach at National Able Network, I’ve witnessed how each job seekers and employers interact with each other when discussing felony backgrounds. It’s a standard misconception that an employer will mechanically dismiss somebody for having a prior conviction, which is not always the case.
